The Beautiful Life Revival
16 Nov
Just got news the CW network has decided to air the remaining 5 episodes of the abruptly canceled show “The Beautiful Life”, with production from Ashton Kutcher & leading the pack Mischa Barton & Sara Paxton.
I personally liked the show and saw a great deal of potential in it to be a success if given the right marketing campaign & imaging which completely lacked it’s short lived airing time. The production was lavish and rich and captured the growing craze for the behind-the-catwalks world of fashion and modeling in New York that networks seems to be growing a niche for, thanks to the phenomena that is “Gossip Girl”.
CW rushed the cancellation leaving a bitter taste in it’s casts mouth and fans who were excited to see Mischa Barton back on the small screen, and also freshly camera loved talents like Sara Paxton “whose a dead ringer for Mischa”. I don’t get why produce a show then completely ignore hyping it and creating all possible methods for it to succeed. Depending on your casts twits will NOT grant you the ratings you’re looking for.

I feel the network has partially fell under the effect of the negative wave of press that Mischa was getting which is so uncalled for. I’m not blaming Mischa here. I’m saying “PARTIAL” effect. Mischa is very talented and as much as it would frustrate media rats who have something against her, the girl still enjoys quite the fan base. The constant scrutiny over her much publicized problems would drive anyone insane so people really need to a calmthefuckdown pill and give it a rest.
I met Mischa last November at the Atlantis party in Dubai and the girl is such a sweetheart. Give her a break and some time & a chance to do what she’s in the business for, ACT. You could be surprised and impressed if yall gave her a positive frame of mind to focus and deliver top notch performances. Negativity is such a distraction.
I hope this time around when the episodes air, a media campaign of TV promotions, event appearances, & billboards will be in action so hopefully it gets picked up again for production.
Hint hint: If it’s such a hassle of a job, email me & I’ll let my label handle it. You’ll thank me
