Isolated Incident!

Just finished watching Dane Cook’s latest blood fest of laughter in his latest DVD releases “Dane Cook: Isolated Incident”. Now this guy is illegally hilarious to the core, and he has something other stand up comedians doesn’t have, a sense of connectivity with his audiences. People can relate to Dane who reflects a very humble, down to earth like vibe although he’s quite the star now with movies and all. He’s the comedian with the rock star kind of stardom.

In his latest show, Dane gets more personal than ever, tackles playfully different topics like President Barack Obama, interracial relationships, and much more in a very intimate surrounding to a small audience. I highly commend him for joking about after life from the death of both his parents whom he lost to Cancer 9 months apart. It takes a great deal of self control and healing to get to that level, especially for a comedian.

You’re in for cardiac arrests from the stuff this guy says. However, I couldn’t shake off one thing I felt all through the show. “Something” transends that he’s sad. Or tired out. Maybe he didn’t have enough sleep or over worked or the like, but there definately was something. Or maybe that’s just me. Either ways, he delivers a top notch performance.
