Recap: The AMA’s

Let’s start at the beginning, Janet rocked the house with a medley of her biggest singles, Shakira gave a knock out performance, Alicia Keys and Mary J. Blige charmed with soulful ballads and Whitney almost put my ass to sleep. Rihanna gave a performance of her song Hard, But to me, it seemed rather floppy. Though I do love how she borrowed Milla Jovovich’s outfit from The Fifth Element.

And let’s not leave out Lady GaGa. She gave a great performance and as usual I was scratching my head saying ‘What the fuck is she wearing?’ But it’s best not to go off on a tangent about the GaGa because I could go on and on all night (Pun intended and it stays).

I know I’m leaving out a few moments but I’ll be honest, the show wasn’t that interesting and I had wine that needed drinking. Also, I forgot the AMA’s are all about redneck country shit and I lost interest raaaaaather quickly.

Side notes:

• Fergie’s still gross.
• The back of Timbaland’s neck looks like a six-pack of hotdogs.
• MJ won a couple awards but I’m not exactly sure what for.
• Lady Gaga’s costume seemed a little androgynous (just look close).
• Taylor Swift is a peach.
• Is Adam Lambert one of those gay fellas?
